I have taken three trips with Pivot trip in the last three years, and Cory has never disappointed me as a traveler. His planning is thorough and includes a little bit of everything from culture to cuisine and always includes a surprise or two. I find this very appealing for places where I might find planning a trip to be a bit overwhelming. His itineraries are not too rushed and there is always flexibility to include enough time for photos and shopping. Finally, I've met some great people on these trips who I have kept in contact with.Posted on Google Bill OlsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Costa Rica NYE 2025 was my first trip with Cory and Pivot Trip… and it could not have been better. Cory made sure we all had a great time! Cory’s communication put me at ease and during the trip it was clear that he continually worked behind the scenes to make sure everything went well. I’ve already booked another trip to Antarctica and can’t wait!! I recommend without hesitation. We just completed our first Pivot Trip last week & had such a great time, we’re already booking our next one. The experiences that Cory put together in our trip were unique & many would have not been things we would have done on our own if we had been planning the trip ourselves. We had three guys in our group who had done previous trips with Pivot which I think speaks volumes for the quality of the trips Cory plans. Anyone who is considering one of his trips, I would totally recommend them!Posted on Google Ciaran KirraneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ok, first time ever doing a Google review but simply could not NOT single out Pivot Trip after the last 10 days in Morocco. My husband and I have always shied away from curated trips with strangers, but SO glad we took the leap with Cory & Pivot Trip. His unbelievable planning , the amazing itinerary that included activities we would never have found or considered, the easy camaraderie and way he ensured all of us felt connected and included, and the most beautiful hotels/ riads/ restaurants etc. Worth EVERY cent and more. So often tour companies over sell and under deliver- PIvot Trip is unlike anything out there for our community. Do it. You won't regret itPosted on Google Clinton MickeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently returned from an incredible trip to Vietnam and Cambodia with Cory at Pivot Trip. I can’t say enough good things about this experience. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully organized and seamless. Cory’s itinerary struck the perfect balance between must-see highlights and unique, off-the-beaten-path experiences. Cory also hit the mark, giving us the perfect amount of downtime to relax or explore on our own. Every detail—from accommodations to transportation to guided tours—was executed, allowing me to enjoy the journey fully. Vietnam and Cambodia are absolutely beautiful, and having Cory along, working behind the scenes, made all the difference, both before the trip (assisting with flights, Visas, packing list) and during the trip. I always felt supported while traveling halfway around the world. If you’re considering a trip with other like-minded gay men, I highly recommend Pivot Trip. I’ll definitely be traveling with Cory again for future adventures!Posted on Google John YaskevichTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Corey's love of travel and exploration is reflected in the group trips he plans. They're filled with a wide variety of amazing experiences and activities with top-level hotel accommodations. During our trip to Vietnam, we found ourselves hurtling through swarming traffic on the back of a Vespa through downtown Hanoi -- even shooting down six-foot-wide alleys. We all celebrated Daniel's birthday at a 5-star Michelin restaurant. A sea plane ride over Han Long Bay showed us the area we would be exploring on our yacht -- just seven guests on a ship with a crew of 19 to serve us. On the Bay, as we passed the towering limestone formations, there was kayaking under stone archways and fine dining and delightful accommodations, each with its own spacious balcony. We visited the island of Cat Ba, where we rode bicycles, explored caves, and experienced a traditional Vietnamese village -- have you ever tried snake wine? In the bustling town of Hoi An we explored a diverse range of restaurants and shops, and attended a cooking school whose teacher first took us to the fish and vegetable markets to purchase our ingredients so we could see where they originated. In Cambodia we watched the sun rise behind the ancient temples of Angkor Wat, and that same day Daniel took part in a cross-country sunset quad bike ride that roared through the Cambodian countryside of fields and rice paddies -- where else can you find yourself surrounded by a herd of water buffalo emerging from a lake? In Siem Reap we explored many of the area's temples, shopped at the night market bazaar, and enjoyed the incredibly talented drag shows off of the infamous Pub Street (some of us actually ended up IN the drag shows). We definitely got a good sense of Vietnam and Cambodia and its people, well away from the usual tourist traps. There was even free time to explore on our own. And as we all bonded and became friends, Corey was right there with us, taking part and enjoying every activity with us -- yet totally responsive when a massage needed to be rescheduled or an accommodation needed to be adjusted. He also initially helped everyone with the required documents for each country. And all the connections, from airlines to airport pickups to buses to and from various venues, were seamless. The guides he chose were friendly and well-informed. We're very grateful to Corey for orchestrating such a memorable and highly enjoyable experience, and recommend his tours to gay men looking for an intimate, curated and innovative experience you'll never forget. I just completed my third trip with Cory and Pivot Trip! I sailed the Dodecanese Islands of Greece in 2021, explored the ancient city of Machu Picchu in 2024 and just returned from Costa Rica after ringing in the new year 2026. It was so amazing for the seven of us to stay in a beautiful villa perched on a densely-forested mountain above Quepos/Manuel Antonio. We had a lovely infinity pool, a private chef, private massage, and yoga. The food was plentiful and so delicious and it was the perfect mix of activities and downtime. Zip lining, horse-back riding, chocolate making, boat excursion with snorkeling and beach time filled our week with fun and adventure. The guys in the group were great and I continue friendships with them. The trip was well planned, the cultural experience and the camaraderie was so fun! I have many lasting and wonderful memories of my trips--which is why I am a repeat traveler! I'd definitely go again!Posted on Google Brand ReynoldsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My New Year’s trip to Costa Rica with Cory Calvin from Pivot Trip was absolutely incredible. From start to finish, it was one of the most relaxing and well-curated vacations I’ve ever taken. Cory put together an amazing balance of activities and downtime — everything felt intentional without ever feeling rushed. Highlights included having a personal chef, an unforgettable chocolate-making class, yoga, zip lining, horseback riding, swimming at a waterfall, snorkeling, and plenty of beach and relaxation time. Staying at the villa was a dream — the infinity pool and hot tub made it feel like a true luxury retreat. Traveling with the other men on the trip was genuinely fun and added a great sense of camaraderie to the experience. It felt easy, social, and supportive the entire time. What really set this trip apart was Cory himself. He had everything planned and scheduled perfectly and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure every detail went smoothly. Because of that, all we had to do was relax and enjoy. This trip was an exceptional value for everything that was included, and I came home feeling refreshed, recharged, and grateful. I would absolutely travel with Pivot Trip again and highly recommend Cory to anyone looking for a stress-free, meaningful, and well-executed vacation.Posted on Google Buffer HellandTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
